Design project book design: Vanishing. WS 2011/2012
This class on book design is a cooperation between the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong-Kong and Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Kamp-Lintfort
Design a book on something that is vanishing.
In this class we would like to focus on things that are vanishing; disappearing from out sight, our culture, everyday life, our city, our society, our thoughts and minds. Those things could be objects, people, structures, words, gadgets, places, buildings, sayings, words, thoughts, traditions.
Each student is to design a book in a specific format. All books will form a collection, which we plan to present in exhibitions in Hong Kong as well as Kamp Lintfort.
